CCR Aperitivo for BRA Day - October 15, 2014

Serious Fun for a Serious Cause

That’s the way we like it at the Canadian Club of Rome! Yes, we love to have fun, but we also love to support worthy causes. Once again we’ll be combining the two as we gather for BRA Day on October 15th.

“Bra?!” you may exclaim. Yes, that stands for Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day, a worldwide day to raise awareness of breast cancer and recovery. Started by Toronto doctor Mitch Brown, BRA Day has been adopted in Italy by ANDOS (Associazione Nazionale Donne Operate al Seno), CCR’s charity of choice last season. Our get-together will be an opportunity to officially present the charity with the funds our members have raised.

So, let’s get together for a great aperitivo at the stylish Officina Settembrini and expect to have A LOT of fun! CCR Member and hair stylist extraordinaire Rick Breco will be our Master of Ceremonies as we meet two speakers discussing their experiences, in between games, drinks and laughs. This event will be our English-language contribution to the Italian-language events organized earlier in the day by ANDOS for BRA Day Italy.

When: Wednesday, October 15, 2014
Time: 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Officina  Settembrini, Via Giuseppe Avezzana 19/21 (Piazza Mazzini area)
Cost:10 euro for CCR members, €15 for guests
